Company Overview
The caring and compassionate staff of the Oakdale & Riverbank Memorial Chapels are available to assist families with all immediate and pre-planning funeral needs. We are a full-service Mortuary providing traditional burials, cremations, full services, and memorial services which can take place in either of our chapels or in a location of your choosing. These services include the appropriate preparation for your loved one as well as the correct state and local government documentation. Our family and staff is well trained in what we do and can help your family in your time of need or preparation.
Company History
The Oakdale - Riverbank Memorial Chapels are a family owned and operated business by the Botto & Wilson Families for over 60 years. Currently three generations of family members continue to provide excellent customer service to the Communities of Oakdale, Riverbank, Knights Ferry, Valley Home and the surrounding rural areas.
Clifford & Ruby Botto established residency and business in Oakdale (July 1953) and Riverbank (June 1960). Clifford and Ruby have three children who are the second generation of family members working in the business with Dorinda Botto as a full-time Funeral Planner.
The Botto’s long-time business partners and co-founders are Josie Terzich (deceased) and Holly Wilson (deceased) whose children Norby, Denny, Kathy & Jeff are the second generation of the Wilson family providing family funeral services to the Communities of Sonora, San Andreas, and Angles Camp.
The Jim & Geri Davy family (Sons Richard & Donald) has been long-term associates and part-owners of the business. Jim passed in 2002 after a long battle with cancer. Geri retired 2012 after 40 years of service. Geri continues to provide part-time assistance to the Chapel team as needed. The Daily management of the Oakdale – Riverbank Memorial Chapels is provided by Richard Davy a long-term team-member and part-owner in the business.
The Oakdale Chapel was expanded in 1970 and the Riverbank Chapels major remodel project was completed in March 2012 adding an outside memorial area. Both facilities have chapels and viewing areas to accommodate full funeral service needs.
The Botto / Wilsons built and established in 2012 a new Crematory within the scenic Community of Jamestown, CA.
