Dopkins Funeral Chapel is a family owned firm and has served the Dinuba & Cutler-Orosi area since 1895. This is a farming community with an emphasis on tradition. Our staff has endeavored to provide the families we serve with the latest technologies while still tailoring services to their individual needs.
Company History
Started as a furniture store and undertaking parlor in downtown Dinuba, California in 1985 by George M. Dopkins, located on L Street.
In 1920, George decided a new building was needed to accommodate the growing community. The mortuary was built on the corner of J and Kern Streets, where we still operate today.
The firm has been owned by the Franzen family since 1990 with three generations still actively involved.
